Katie Mackelvey

Katie trained in martial arts for 7 years, and taught for two years, after receiving her 1st degree black belt. She is a certified Zumba instructor, and also certified in barre. Katie plays everything from today’s pop hits, to hip-hop, and techno. Her classes are always a challenge, but fun. Katie’s goal is to help people feel good inside and out by pushing them beyond what they think they can do, while having a great time.

Danielle Spangler

Danielle attended the University of North Texas where she received her B.S. in Kinesiology. While in college she began teaching group classes, and has taught everything from hi/lo impact aerobics to sculpting and cycling classes. Danielle has certifications from The Cooper Aerobics Institute, AFAA, and Reebok. She is also a personal trainer and holds her NASM as well as ACSM. Danielle specializes in pre/postnatal fitness and has written articles for many fitness magazines. Her classes are fun, yet challenging and she modifies to adapt to all fitness levels.

Sue Harragan

Sue Harragan, founder of thebodybar(re), discovered the barre technique in Los Angeles and was instantly hooked. With a busy lifestyle Sue was looking for a great total body workout and found the perfect match with the barre workout. The muscle building and toning combined with cardio gave Sue results she could really see. After a move to Nevada Sue realized there was an amazing opportunity to bring the barre workout to Las Vegas. Sue's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the barre workout inspired her to open the first thebodybar(re)® location. Always a fitness enthusiast, Sue began extensive training of the barre workout both in LA and New York and also holds personal and group fitness training certifications. You'll find that Sue's meticulous attention to form and the barre technique will ensure students have an experience that is addicting while seeing impressive body-changing results. Sue also teaches TRX and Spin 30/30 classes.
