Michael has been in and out of the Fitness Industry for over 25 years. He started out as a Personal Trainer in the late 80's, early 90's and started cross training with Mountain biking. He later worked with Mari Winsor of Winsor Pilates and managed her Los Angeles Studios. A 5 year hiatus from his body led him to rediscovering a love for the bike and to the former Space Studio where he began spinning and lost 20 lbs.. For the past 5 years Michael and a bunch of other local Dad's have been putting between 100 to 200 miles per week around the Palos Verdes hill, doing intervals on Westchester Parkway at 5:30 am, taking on the long climbs of Topanga Canyon or the sprints to Malibu.
Michael's class brings the mountains and the flats into the Fit On Cycling Studio with an emphasis on body and muscle awareness. His music tends to swing to a hard driving rock mix of Pearl Jam, Tool, Whites Stripes and some funk like G. Love and the Gorillaz.
